The way in which government funds apprenticeships in England has changed. Some employers are now required to contribute to a new Apprenticeship Levy and there have been changes to the funding for apprenticeship delivery for all employers.
The government is introduced the Apprenticeship levy in April 2017. The levy requires all employers operating in the UK with a wage bill over £3 million each year to invest in apprenticeships through the levy. The following guidance provides information on how the apprenticeship levy works.
